Hi friends, and welcome to another TBR! I realized after putting my list together that I probably should have picked fewer books because I’m going to be doing a lot of Pitch Wars submission reading during October (gahhh!!!). But I’ll still do my best to make it through! I picked a lot of these books for their spooky vibes so hopefully October is full of some good Halloween-y reads! Here’s what’s on my list:
The Fastest Way to Fall by Denise Williams: I freakin’ loved Denise’s debut from last year and I am so excited to dive into this book!
The Wedding Ringer by Kerry Rea: Kerry is a fellow Pitch Wars class of 2019er so I’m super stoked to read her debut!
Blame it on the Mistletoe by Beth Garrod: I know it’s Halloween, but it’s also almost time for Christmas so I gotta sneak in some holiday reads.
Fearless by Katie Golding: Motorcycles are not my thing, but Katie is such a positive light in the romance community, and I want to support her books!
Bombshell by Sarah MacLean: Got my fingers crossed this one lives up to the hype.
Mom Jeans and Other Mistakes by Alexa Martin: I read the first couple of chapters of this one when Alexa was drafting and I immediately fell in love with these characters! I can’t wait to read the finished product!
A Study in Scarlet Women by Sherry Thomas: This series has been on my radar for a while and I’m excited to dive in.
Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia: I have no idea what to expect from this one, but the cover is gorgeous.
The Widow of Rose House by Diana Biller: I was hesitant to pick this one up because of the title, but I’ve heard nothing but good things.
I Kissed a Girl by Jennet Alexander: I am trash for Hollywood romances.
Daughters of Sparta by Claire Heywood: I picked this one up after I read Song of Achilles, fingers crossed it’s as good.
Furyborn by Claire Legrand: This one has been on my list for a while, time to actually read it!
A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee: Maybe after reading this one I will finally know how to spell vengeance.
Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney: Not a book I would normally pick up, but I’m trying to push myself!
56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard: See above!
Overall, it should be an interesting month of reading and I’m ready to get started!
