Owl Crate Reveal: October 2020

Guys, Owl Crate has really been killing it this year, and after skipping last month’s box (because it was horror themed which is just not my thing), I was super stoked to see this month’s box sitting on my doorstep. The theme for October was Legends and Lore, and the box was packed full of useful and cute goodies! Let’s check them out!

I love getting toiletry type items in my subscription boxes, and since I loved A Song of Wraith and Ruin, I was excited to see this Solstasia Festival inspired soap from Motherland Essentials. And I’m definitely going to be stashing this Girl of Paper and Fire glass nail file in my purse because it’s pretty and useful!

I absolutely love these wind chimes inspired by Woven in Moonlight. I’m very into the celestial elements in kind of neutral materials aesthetic. Right now they are hanging in my office, but eventually I’ll move them out to the patio so I can hear them tinkling.

I never would have thought to seek out a phone stand, but I’ve actually already used this one from Lady Chubb Letters (adorned with a quote from The Star Touched Queen). It’s cute and convenient!

I am not the chef in my house, but I know this bowl cozy will be used often, designed by Janine Lecour and inspired by Spin the Dawn.

I was probably most stoked to see this month’s book was one I already had on my list, Legendborn by Tracy Deonn. I’ve been hearing tons of great things about this one, so it was very cool to see it in the box!

Overall, I was really into the items from this month’s box, and I can’t wait to see what comes next month! The theme for November is Growing Wild, and it’s going to contain one of my yearly favorites, a new reading planner! I have been using Owl Crate reading planners for years and they are my faves! What item do you look forward to seeing in your book boxes?
