Owl Crate Reveal: January 2020

Where did the month of January go friends? And how many times will I be saying that over the next week or so? Probably a million because holy cow we are at the end of January already, and slowly and steadily creeping up on one year in lockdown. Yowza. I don’t know about you, but one of the bright spots of my pandemic days is receiving packages in the mail, and of course, one of my favorite packages to receive is my monthly Owl Crate box. This month’s theme was From Olympus with Love and there were some super cool items included! Let’s take a peek!

I was very excited to see this pin banner from Michelle Gray because I was just thinking I needed a way to display more of my pins. I have so many cute ones and I want to see them when I’m working so I’ve already got this bad boy hanging up! I am not a big tea drinker, so I tend to collect these and pass them along to tea drinking friends, and this one from Riddle’s Tea Shoppe sounds yummy! I’m pretty obsessed with bookmarks, I have a huge collection, so I’m always stoked to add more. This one from In the Reads is two sided (see other side in top image) and is inspired by the books of Madeline Miller.

Not going to lie, I already have more than one felt letter board, but what I like about this one is the size, and the fact that it came with a pouch for the letters! I have so many stray letters floating around and this time I will actually be able to keep them organized. And in the background of all these pics is a gorgeous tapestry of the lunar calendar designed by Eden Cooke!

The book for January is Lore by Alexandra Bracken. I didn’t love Passenger, but I’m about two-thirds of the way through Lore as of writing this post and it’s interesting so far. A lot of world-building and characters, but it’s definitely keeping me on the edge of my seat!

Overall, another fantastic box and as usual, I’m already counting down to the next one!
