Despite the extra day, I didn’t complete as much reading as I would have liked during the month of February, which is understandable given the major life changes happening. But sometimes quality is more important than quantity, and overall it was a great month of reading.
Learn My Lesson by Katee Robert: I didn’t love this one as much as the first, but it was hot AF. (Full review here.)
Haunted by Alexandra Adornetto: I’m not super into ghosty stories, but I liked this one more than I thought I would.
Lament by Alexandra Adornetto: This sequel was lacking some of the magic and charm that kept me interested in the first book.
Bossy Pants by Tina Fey: Lots of interesting stories here, but some of her humor did not hold up in 2020.
Pleasure of a Dark Prince by Kresley Cole: I think this is my favorite of the Immortals After Dark series so far because Garreth is *swoon*.
Scavenge the Stars by Tara Sim: My exact notes state: No complaints, just nothing all that earth-shattering interesting. (Full review here.)
Wedding Party by Jasmine Guillory: Not sure this book lived up to the hype, for me, it was a major meh.
Spell of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning: This book definitely piqued my interest in the series and I will definitely read more.
Glittering Hour by Iona Grey: Beautifully written but my romance soul does not handle not happy endings well.
Notorious Vow by Joanna Shupe: Some really brutal moments in this one (see full review for content warnings), but I love Joanna and this series. (Full review here.)
Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld: Interesting concept, but I wanted more from the character development.
Worst Best Man by Mia Sosa: Such a fun, cute read, and nothing wedding planner wise that made me cringe! (Full review here.)
Mermaid Inn by Jenny Holiday: Jenny tugs at my heartstrings in a way few other authors do. (Full review here.)
One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah MacLean: I usually love Sarah, but this one was hard for me to get into.
Overall, some really good books this month. What was your favorite February read?
