So I read a normal amount of books in May (seventeen total) and somehow ended up with twelve favorites, and honestly the other five could have all made this list most any other month. I don’t know how I scored such an awesome month of reading, but I hope y’all are ready! Let’s dive in!
The Good Girl’s Guide to Rakes by Eva Leigh: Eva continues to hit for me every single time. I seriously look forward to her books so much and am really looking forward to the rest of this series.
League of Gentlewomen Witches by India Holton: Another perfect book from India! Her books are unlike anything else I’ve read and I am obsessed with them.
Like a Sister by Kellye Garrett: I’ve been getting more into thrillers lately, and since Kellye is a Pitch Wars friend, I of course picked her book when it came up as a Book of the Month choice. I really enjoyed this one, especially with it’s ties to reality TV, which we all know I am trash for.
As Seen on TV by Meredith Schorr: If you are a fan of Hallmark movies (and we all know I am), then you definitely want to pick up this twist on a small town romance.
The Italian Job by Kathryn Freeman: I’d heard very little about this book going in but it’s fake dating in Positano and really what more can you ask for?
The Wedding Crasher by Mia Sosa: I had high hopes for this one and it did not disappoint!
Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan: I did not expect to love this one as much as I did, but I should’ve known since I love me a celebrity romance.
How to Fake it in Hollywood by Ava Wilder: One of my favorite books of the year, easily. Loved every second. Every wrote a full review which you can find here.
Kamila Knows Best by Farah Herron: As a Clueless devotee, this book was basically made for me.
One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle: This one cemented my need to visit Positano (seriously, started planning my vacation as soon as I was done). Also, it’s a good book!
Book Lovers by Emily Henry: I seriously went into this thinking that there was no way I could love an EH book more than her other two and boy was I wrong!
From the Jump by Lacie Waldon: If you love friends to lovers (which I obviously do) you need to add this one to your list. So much pining!
A truly fantastic month of reading, not sure how June could possibly top it (but I sure will try!)!
